For me, summer has always been a time of fun, relaxation, and gentle, easy writing.
Nothing too busy or productive…just simple and enjoyable, allowing myself to write as little or as much as I’d like, with no set schedule.
Summer in general invites us to slow down, soak up the sunshine, and reconnect with our writing inspiration. Why do we love writing? This is the perfect season to explore this, and to approach writing from a childlike sense of curiosity and fun! Giving ourselves this opportunity of easy creativity is so beneficial for our overall writing wellness.
